Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes an annual contract for various aggregate materials for 2025, for an estimated annual amount of $185,400.00.

Street Maintenance and Public Works and Utilities will be purchasing 3/4 inch washed crushed rock, washed sand, bedding sand and rip rap. Public Works uses these aggregates for backfill on main breaks and new construction of water, gas sanitary and storm installations. Street Maintenance uses the washed sand in support of annual road maintenance on all streets, avenues and alleys in the City. This material falls in line with the best method of practices for both summer and winter maintenance cycles.

On December 16, the Purchasing division posted an invitation to bid for various aggregates and Kiminski was the lowest responsive bidder on the rip rap and the only responsive bidder on the 3/4" washed crushed rock, washed sand and bedding sand.
