The Library Foundation Board met on May 27, 2026 in the downtown Library Gold Room.
Stonebridge Capital Advisors Investment Account Presentation was delivered to the Board dealing with investment performance over the past year.
The conflict of interest policy was reviewed and board members signed individual conflict of interest statements.
Financial performance for the month of April and April YTD was discussed with the Board. The IRS form 990 was presented to the board. It was discussed and approved. A signed copy will be filed with the IRS.
National Library week activities were reviewed. The Foundation raised just over $61k from 223 donors. The Foundation hosted or participated in 5 National Library Week events and engaged with about 1,145 Community members.
The National Ambassador for Young People’s Literature, Mac Barnett, visit was held on May 20. It was a full day of activity including a morning visit to an elementary school, an educator session (50+ attendees), and a public event (200+ attendees).
Work on the foundation website redesign project continues. Fundraising continues for the Children’s section project. Work is still projected to begin in Sept.
The next Foundation Board Meeting will be held on July 15. A Friends & Foundation Retreat will be held on June 15.
