CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to execute an amendment, substantially in the form attached as Exhibit A, to agreement L30210 with TRC Environmental Corporation for additional professional engineering services for the Duluth Lakewalk and Shoreline restoration projects, for an increase of $64,514 and a new total not to exceed $661,725, payable from fund 225-125-1815-5310-STRM1018 (Disaster Recovery Fund; Finance: Storm Surge; Contract Services; Storm Surge October 10,2018).
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes an amendment to agreement L30210 with TRC for additional engineering and construction administration tasks related to storm damage repair projects.
This amendment authorizes contract adjustments outlined in three proposals from TRC, listed below by date and content:
March 5, 2020 Proposal: Additional support of site preparation and support for large stone delivery contract (add $26,748), stone materials management (add $41,985), and removing design & construction administration of Waabizshesikana - The Marten Trail storm damage (DEDUCT $79,130)
November 4, 2020 Proposal: Delays to Canal Park construction project due to COVID-19 (add $58,585)
November 18, 2020 Proposal: Design and construction administration support for new concrete wall cap for Canal Park project (add $16,326)
Total net increase from these three proposals: $64,514.00 for a new total not to exceed $661,725
