CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to enter into a contract with EBI Drilling, Inc. for construction of the 2016 High Pressure Gas Mains and Services at Various Locations in the amount of $875,175, payable out of Gas Utility Fund 520, Department/Agency 500 (Public Works & Utilities), Division 1905 (Capital Improvements, Object 5533 (Revenue), city project no. 1480.
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution will authorize construction of 1” through 8” high pressure polyethylene gas mains and 1/2” and larger polyethylene gas services during the 2016 construction season by EBI Drilling, Inc. in the amount of $875,175, payable out of Gas Utility Fund 520, Department/Agency 500 (Public Works & Utilities), Division 1905 (Capital Improvements, Object 5533 (Revenue), city project no. 1480, requisition no. 16-0132. EBI Drilling, Inc. was the lowest responsible bidder of the four companies that responded. The engineer’s estimate was $1,063,850.
