RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A RENEWAL AGREEMENT WITH LEXISNEXIS RISK SOLUTIONS FOR AN ONLINE SUBSCRIPTION TO THE ACCURINT VIRTUAL CRIME CENTER WITH TRAX FOR A TERM OF THREE YEARS AT AN ANNUAL COST OF $27,125 TOGETHER WITH AN ANNUAL INCREASE OF FIVE PERCENT PER YEAR.

CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to enter into a renewal agreement, substantially in the form attached hereto as Document A, for an online subscription to the Accurint virtual crime center with TRaX for a term of three years at an annual cost of $27,125 per year together with an annual increase of five percent per year, payable from fund number 110-160-1610-5414 (general, police, administration and investigation, software licenses and maintenance) and 215-200-2254-5414 (police grants, police, Lake Superior Violent Offender Task Force, software licenses and maintenance)
Statement of Purpose
This resolution authorizes the execution of a renewal agreement with LexisNexis Risk Solutions for an online subscription to the Accurint Virtual Crime Center with TRaX for a term of three years at an annual cost of $27,125 together with an annual increase of five percent per year. The Accurint Virtual Crime Center is a secure online law enforcement tool that supports crime data sharing with the community, pattern analysis, crime mapping, predictive analytics and reporting.
