CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to amend agreement L30713 with Mavo Systems, Inc. for the City Hall MEP renewal project for additional services requested related to abatement of materials containing lead and asbestos as detailed in the attached proposal as Exhibit A, and to increase the amount by $67,650.00 for a new total of $207,650.00, payable from fund 450-030-5520-CP2023-2302B (capital improvements, finance, buildings & structures, 2023 capital improvement projects, City Hall HVAC).
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution amends agreement L30713 with Mavo Systems, Inc. to increase the amount by $67,650.00 for a new total of $207,650.00. The increase will pay for additional abatement of materials containing lead and asbestos. The increase is necessary as a result of the discovery of more such materials in the course of carrying out the City Hall Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing Renewal Project than was originally anticipated.
