CITY PROPOSAL:
BE IT RESOLVED, that the proper City officials are hereby authorized to accept and execute the Cross-Country Ski Grant-in-Aid Program grant contract, substantially in the form of Exhibit A, with the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources for the maintenance and winter grooming of cross-country ski trails in Duluth for the 2025-2026 season in an amount not to exceed $12,650 with said funds to be deposited into 110-121-1217-2145-4225 (general fund, property parks and libraries, maintenance operations, park maintenance, ski trail reimbursement).
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes acceptance of a cross-country ski Grant-in-Aid Program grant from the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources for maintenance and winter grooming of Duluth cross-country ski trails for $12,650. The City annually applies for and uses these program funds to support maintenance of Duluth’s 26 miles of cross-country ski trails.
