CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to execute an amendment to agreement L30801 with AMI Consulting Engineers to include additional services requested for construction administration and oversight at Brighton Beach through project completion as detailed in the attached proposal as Exhibit A, for an increase of $26,280.00 and a new total amount not to exceed $188,355.00, payable from fund 225-125-1822-5310-Strm1122-01 (disaster recovery fund, finance, storm surge November 2022, contract services, storm surge November 10, 2022, Brighton Beach)
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes an amendment to agreement L30801 with AMI Consulting Engineers for an increase of $26,280.00.
Additional services for construction oversight at Brighton Beach were requested by the City to have a coastal engineer on-site while contractors were performing and finishing repair work on portions of the park that were heavily damaged during the November 2022 storm. The funding for this scope increase will be made available through an equivalent decrease in scope of construction administration to agreement L30521, of which AMI Consulting Engineers is a subconsultant and which pertains to a different area of Brighton Beach.
