CITY PROPOSAL:

RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to execute a first amendment to the agreement between the City of Duluth, Center for Alcohol and Drug Treatment (CADT), and Jeffrey R. Maahs, PhD., for the FY 2019 Comprehensive Opioid Abuse Site-based Program (COAP) award providing for an additional $25,000 in grant funding to CADT for the provision of a second bed for treatment services, said first amendment to be substantially the same as the attached Document A.

 

Statement of Purpose

STATEMENT OF PURPOSE:  This resolution authorizes the proper city officials to execute a first amendment to the agreement between the City of Duluth, the Center for Alcohol and Drug Treatment (CADT), and Jeffrey R. Maahs, PhD., for the FY 2019 Comprehensive Opioid Abuse Site-based Program (COAP) award.  This amendment allows CADT to receive up to an additional $25,000 in grant funding for the provision of a second bed in their Pathfinder Unit that will be reserved for opioid abuse victims for treatment services.
