CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to increase the amount of contract L31263 with PEC Solutions LLC for the Spirit Mountain Chairlift and Electrical Infrastructure project for a new total amount not to exceed $277,425.17, payable from fund 437-030-5520 (Spirit Mountain capital improvement, finance, buildings & structures).
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution amends agreement L31263 with PEC Solutions LLC by an increase of $77,456.17. This increase is for change orders to the scope of work incurred by relocating the position of electrical service transformers and primary service, building an expanded utility pad and bollards, providing additional service connections for enhanced lighting, alterations to landscaping to protect infrastructure, and provision of temporary service equipment.
This project is part of the Spirit Mountain reinvestment initiative that received half of the funding via bonding from the State of Minnesota, with a funding match split between the City and Spirit Mountain.
