RESOLUTION APPROVING A COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF DULUTH AND LAW ENFORCEMENT LABOR SERVICES 363 FOR THE YEAR 2027.

CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to execute and implement a collective bargaining agreement with Law Enforcement Labor Services 363 containing substantially the same terms as that attached hereto as Document A, covering the terms and conditions for Law Enforcement Labor Services 363 bargaining unit members for the year 2027.
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: The City and the Lieutenants, represented by Law Enforcement Labor Services (LELS) 363, have been in negotiations for a successor agreement to their current 2024-2026 collective bargaining agreement. The parties tentatively agreed to a 2027 collective bargaining agreement on September 16, 2026, and the LELS membership ratified the 2027 collective bargaining agreement on September 24, 2026.
