RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF REIMBURSEMENT FROM THE UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE, BUREAU OF JUSTICE ASSISTANCE, OFFICE OF JUSTICE PROGRAMS, IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $18,000.00 FOR THE REIMBURSEMENT OF THE PURCHASE OF BALLISTIC VESTS.

CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to accept ballistic vest reimbursements from the United States department of justice, bureau of justice assistance, office of justice programs, in an amount not to exceed $18,000.00 to be deposited in Fund 110-160-1610-4209-02 (General Fund, Police Department, Administration & Investigation, Federal Operating Grants), per the attached Document A.
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes the proper city officials to accept additional money for reimbursement of Police Department ballistic vest purchases in an amount not exceed $18,000.00 from the United States Department of Justice, Bureau of Justice Assistance, Office of Justice Programs.
