CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to execute an amendment to agreement L30827 with TKDA to include engineering services for the concrete bridge abutments at Knowlton Creek as detailed in the attached proposal as Exhibit A, and to increase the amount by $9,927.00 for a new total amount not to exceed $64,400.00, payable from fund 452-030-5530-HANDHTAX-1506 (tourism & recreational projects, finance, improvements other than buildings, half & half tax projects, Nordic - Lower Spirit).
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes an amendment to agreement L30827 with TKDA for an increase of $9,927.00. This additional scope includes updating the previously prepared construction plans and specifications for concrete bridge abutments at Knowlton Creek, as well as staking and construction administration. The project is funded by a federal grant, a state grant, and a portion of the proceeds of a one-half-of-one-percent increment in local tourism taxes put aside by City Council for improvements to snowmobile trails in the St Louis River Corridor.
