CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper City officials are hereby authorized to enter into a contract with MinnComm for construction of the 2025 Gas Blanket Project for Mains and Services in Various Locations in the amount of $1,110,895.00, payable out of Gas Utility Fund 520, Department/Agency 500 (Public Works & Utilities), Division 1905 (Capital Improvements), Object 5533 (Revenue), city project no. 2288.
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution will authorize construction of 1” through 8” high pressure polyethylene gas mains and ½” and larger polyethylene gas services during the 2025 construction season by MinnComm in the amount of $1,110,895, payable out of Gas Utility Fund 520, Department/Agency 500 (Public Works & Utilities), Division 1905 (Capital Improvements), Object 5533 (Revenue), city project no. 2288, requisition no. 25-00179. MinnComm was the lowest bidder of the three companies that responded. The engineer’s estimate was $1,092,927.
