RESOLUTION ACCEPTING A PERMANENT EASEMENT FOR STREET AND UTILITY PURPOSES NEAR WOODLAND AVENUE AND EAST EIGHTH STREET FROM POSA INVESTMENTS, LLC, AT NO COST TO THE CITY.

CITY PROPOSAL:

RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to accept a permanent easement for street and utility purposes from POSA Investments, LLC, a Minnesota limited liability company, substantially in the form attached as Exhibit 1, at no cost to the city, over real property described and depicted in Exhibit A to Exhibit 1.

 

Statement of Purpose

STATEMENT OF PURPOSE:  This resolution authorizes acceptance of a permanent street and utility easement for a portion of property that had previously been condemned for street purposes, but the condemnation was subsequently removed from the Certificate of Title.  The easement will be sufficient for the city’s street, utility and pedestrian needs.
