CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to enter into a contract with George Bougalis & Sons Co. for the Brighton Beach Trail Extension project in the amount of $553,508.40, payable from Capital Improvement Fund 450, Department/Agency 030 (Finance), Object 5530 (Improvements Other than Buildings), city project no. 1544.
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes the award of a contract for the Brighton Beach Trail Extension project to George Bougalis & Sons Co., Inc. Bougalis & Sons was the lowest responsible bidder of the seven companies that responded. The engineer’s estimate was $761,585. Payable from Capital Improvement Fund 450, Department/Agency 030 (Finance), Object 5530 (Improvements Other than Buildings), city project no. 1544, requisition no. 20-99479. This project has $375,000 in Federal Transportation Alternatives Program funding, with the match coming from local funds.
