CITY PROPOSAL:

RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to amend the existing agreement, substantially in the form attached hereto as Schedule A, for an online subscription to the Accurint virtual crime center with TRaX for the remaining term of three and one half years at an annual cost of $31,853.45 per year together with an annual increase of five percent per year, payable from fund number 110-160-1610-5414 (general, police, administration and investigation, software licenses and maintenance) and 215-200-2254-5414 (police grants, police, Lake Superior Violent Offender Task Force, software licenses and maintenance)

 

Statement of Purpose

STATEMENT OF PURPOSE:  This resolution authorizes the execution of a an amendment to the existing agreement with LexisNexis Risk Solutions for an online subscription to the Accurint Virtual Crime Center with TRaX for remaining term of three and one half years at an annual cost of $31,853.45 together with an annual increase of five percent per year.  This amendment consolidates the two existing agreement into one renewal schedule, it does not require an outlay of any additional funding. The Accurint Virtual Crime Center is a secure online law enforcement tool that supports crime data sharing with the community, pattern analysis, crime mapping, predictive analytics and reporting.
