CITY PROPOSAL:

RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to enter into police enterprise records management system (RMS) access agreements, substantially in the form of the attached Document A, to provide authorized users in St. Louis County with shared access to appropriate RMS software and data with payment to the City of Duluth in the amount of $1,124 per user, revenue deposited into Fund 210-030-3206-4654 (Special Projects Fund, Finance, Police Records Management System, Other Reimbursements).

 

STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes record management system access agreements with St. Louis County Sherrif’s office, Proctor Police Department, Eveleth Police Department, Chisholm Police Department, Hibbing Police Department, Gilbert/Biwabik Police Department, Bois Forte Police Department, Floodwood Police Department, Duluth Township, Hoyt Lakes Police Department, Breitung Township, Fond Du Lac Police Department, Babbit Police Department, Ely Police Department, and East Range Police Department. Each agency will pay an annual fee of $1,124 per user.  RMS is an integrated criminal justice information system implemented by the Duluth Police Department in 2020 for the creation and storage of law enforcement data.
