CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to enter into a contract with Shannon’s Inc. for the Lakewood Water Treatment Plant Heating, Ventilation and Cooling System Improvements in the amount of $940,850, payable out of Water Utility Fund 510, Department/Agency 500 (Public Works & Utilities), Division 1905 (Capital), Object 5533 (Capital Improvements - Revenue), city project no. 1340.
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes the Lakewood Water Treatment Plant Heating, Ventilation and Cooling System Improvements by Shannon’s Inc. in the amount of $940,850. Shannon’s Inc. was the lowest responsible bidder of the four companies that responded. The engineer’s estimate was $1,200,000. Payable out of Water Utility Fund 510, Department/Agency 500 (Public Works & Utilities), Division 1905 (Capital), Object 5533 (Capital Improvements - Revenue), city project no. 1340, requisition no. 16-0274.
