CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to execute a software service agreement with Power DMS, Inc., a NEOGOV Company, substantially the same as the attached Document A, for a period of two years for the total amount of $13,655.00, payable from fund number 110-160-1610-5414 (General, Police, Administration and Investigations, Software Licenses and Maintenance Agreements).
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes the execution of a software service agreement with Power DMS, Inc. for a period of two years at a total cost of $13,655.00. The Duluth Police Department was previously awarded a grant from the Office of Community Oriented Policing Services (COPS) in the amount of $45,000. These funds were partially used to purchase a software program through PowerDMS and that has been utilized for approximately the past two years. The Duluth Police Department wishes to switch to a different software program which will better meet the needs of the Department. This requires a new software service agreement.
