RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A TEN-YEAR CONTRACT WITH ST. LOUIS COUNTY FOR A COOPERATIVE OPERATIONS AND MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT.

CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to execute and implement a ten-year agreement with St. Louis County, substantially in the form of attached Document A, for a cooperative operations and maintenance agreement, in which the agreement sets out the responsibilities of each party in relation to maintenance, plowing, and reimbursements;
FURTHER RESOLVED, that payments from the county will be deposited into Fund 110-500-1920-4260 (General-Public Works and Utilities-Street Maintenance-St. Louis County).
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes a ten-year agreement with St. Louis County for the maintenance and plowing of each entity’s roads, as determined to be beneficial to both parties, and identified in the agreement. The City and County have had similar arrangements and agreements since 1999.
