CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that pursuant to resolution 10-0229, the city council approves DEDA resolution No. 22D-09 authorizing a first amendment to a professional services agreement between DEDA and Engineering Systems Inc., attached hereto as Exhibit A, for additional professional services to expand the scope of work to include formal written reports and trial exhibits related to the Pastoret Terrace Building, to provide direct and rebuttal court testimony as needed, to extend the termination date to December 31, 2022, and to increase the contract amount by $155,000 for a total amount not to exceed $183,000.
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: The purpose of this resolution is to approve a first amendment to a professional services agreement between DEDA and Engineering Systems Inc. (ESi). DEDA and ESi entered into an professional services agreement on or about April 1, 2021 (DEDA Contract No. 21-860-125) for a condition assessment and historic review of the Pastoret Terrace Property located at 129-131 East First Street in Duluth MN. DEDA and ESi wish to extend the term of the agreement to December 31, 2022, to include formal written reports and trial exhibits related to the Pastoret Terrace Building, to provide direct and rebuttal court testimony as needed, and to increase the contract amount by $155,000 for a total amount not to exceed $183,000.
On February 16, 2022, DEDA approved this first amendment to a professional services agreement.
