CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proposed specifications for the new civil service classification of life safety supervisor (attached as Exhibit A), which were approved by the civil service board on August 6, 2024, are approved. This classification shall be subject to the city's collective bargaining agreement with its supervisory unit employees; and that pay range for said classification shall be Range 1075 - 1090, pay rate of $75,032 to $98,530 per year.
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: The new classification of life safety supervisor has been created to plan, direct, supervise, and evaluate the operations and staff of the Life Safety Division, and supervise complex issues related to code enforcement and compliance. The pay range negotiated for the classification is Range 1075 - 1090, pay rate of $75,032 to $98,530 per year.
