CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to execute the Minnesota snowmobile trails assistance program grant agreement, substantially in the form attached hereto as Exhibit A, with the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources for the maintenance of Duluth snowmobile trails for the 2020-2021 season in the amount not to exceed $18,620.02 said funds to be deposited into fund 110-121-1217-2145-4226 (General Fund, Public Administration, Maintenance Operations/Park Maintenance, Snowmobile Trail Grants).
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution accepts a snowmobile trail maintenance grant from the Minnesota DNR for $18,620.02, of which $10,494.92 will be used for the east cross city trail, and $8,125.10 for the west cross city trail. Trail grooming and maintenance will be completed by local snowmobile clubs, which the city subcontracts with.
