CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to enter into MnDOT Agreement No. 1045951, a copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit A, with the Minnesota Department of Transportation, providing for payment by MnDOT to the city for the city’s cost of constructing a temporary detour of a portion of the Cross City Trail in conjunction with MnDOT project no. 6982-340 (T.H. 35=103) within the corporate city limits in the amount of $230,079.66, reimbursable to Permanent Improvement Fund 411, Department/Agency 035 (Capital Projects Accounts), Division 4220-01 (State of Minnesota Capital), Project PI2019-1596.
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution will authorize an agreement with MnDOT providing for reimbursement by MnDOT to the city for the city’s costs associated with the state’s Twin Ports Interchange project. This agreement allows the state to reimburse the city for 100% of its construction costs.
