CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper City officials are hereby authorized to enter into a contract with VEIT & COMPANY, INC. for the 2023 CIPP Sanitary CIPP Lining Project - City Wide, City Project No. 2106, in the amount of $1,911,548.00. The working fund for this project is Sanitary Fund 530, Department 500 (Public Works & Utilities), Division 1905 Capital (inc deprec/debt svc), Object 5533 (Capital Improvements Revenue).
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes the 2023 CIPP Sanitary Lining Project - City Wide by Veit & Company, Inc. in the amount of $1,911,548.00. Veit & Company, Inc. was the lowest responsible bidder of the three companies that responded. The engineers estimate was $1,734,060.02, we don’t expect the bids to be lower if we re-advertised. Payable from Sanitary fund 530, Department 500 (Public Works & Utilities), Division 1905 Capital (inc deprec/debt svc), Object 5533 (Capital Improvements Revenue), City Project 2106, requisition 23-99317.
