CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to enter into a contract with Veit & Co., Inc. for the 2021 Citywide CIPP Sewer Lining project in the amount of $886,062.75, with $872,967.75 payable out of Sanitary Sewer Fund 530, Department/Agency 500 (Public Works & Utilities), Division 1905 (Capital), Object 5533 (Capital Improvements - Revenue), and $13,095 payable out of Stormwater Fund 535, Department/Agency 500, Division 1930 (Engineering), Object 5533, city project no. 1955.
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes the 2021 Citywide CIPP Sewer Lining project by Veit & Co., Inc. in the amount of $886,062.75. Veit & Co., Inc. was the lowest responsible bidder of the four companies that responded. The engineer’s estimate was $888,871. $872,967.75 is payable out of Sanitary Sewer Fund 530, Department/Agency 500 (Public Works & Utilities), Division 1905 (Capital), Object 5533 (Capital Improvements - Revenue), and $13,095 is payable out of Stormwater Fund 535, Department/Agency 500, Division 1930 (Engineering), Object 5533 city project no. 1955, requisition no. 21-99261.
