CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are authorized to contract with Altec Industries, Inc. for the purchase of a complete lift truck in the amount of $206,443, payable as follows:

Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes the purchase of a 2019 Freightliner chassis, outfitted with an 18 ton crane and all components, in the amount of $206,443.
The new truck will replace unit 1614, which is 28 years old. The city has spent 181% of the original purchase price maintaining and repairing this truck over its life.
Purchasing issued an invitation for bids on May 3, 2019 and received 1 bid. The unit proposed by Altec Industries, Inc. meets the required specifications and is recommended for award.
