CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to enter into a contract with George Bougalis and Sons Co. for the Kenwood/Arrowhead Signal and Roadway Improvements project in the amount of $1,721,513.91. The working fund is Permanent Improvement Fund 411, Department/Agency 035 (Capital Projects Accounts), Object 5530 (Improvements Other than Buildings), city project no. 1468, S.A.P. 118-151-012 & 118-169-023.
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes the Kenwood/Arrowhead Signal and Roadway Improvements project by George Bougalis and Sons Co. in the amount of $1,721,513.91. George Bougalis and Sons Co. was the lowest responsible bidder of the three companies that responded. The engineer’s estimate was $1,564,480. This project is in conjunction with the construction of Kenwood Village at the intersection of Kenwood Avenue and Arrowhead Road and is a joint venture between the city, the developer and St. Louis County. The working fund is Permanent Improvement Fund 411, Department/Agency 035 (Capital Projects Accounts), Object 5530 (Improvements Other than Buildings), city project no. 1468, requisition no. 16-0438.
