CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that contract L30948 with LHB, Inc. for professional engineering services
for the 2024 Hillside Culvert Repairs Project, be amended to include additional construction administration services, and to increase the total amount by an estimated $89,691.50 for a new total not to exceed $160,984.25, payable from Fund 535-500-1945-5310; UtilB-2217 (stormwater, Public Works and Utilities, utility operations, contract services; utility projects budgeted-Hillside Culvert Repairs).
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution amends contract L30948 with LHB, Inc. by an estimated amount of $89,691.50. This amendment (attached hereto as Exhibit A) is necessary to add pre-construction, construction administration and documentation services that were not included in the original scope of the contract. The construction administration services will assist the engineering division in managing and monitoring the construction of the project. These additional services will use budgeted stormwater utility project funds.
