CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to enter into a master utility agreement with the Minnesota Department of Transportation for relocating natural gas utilities as necessary during the construction of the State Project Number 6981-26, Trunk Highway 535 Blatnik Bridge replacement at no cost to the city, and for purposes of cooperating with the contractor to coordinate all relocations of natural gas utilities as necessary for the project.
Statement of Purpose:
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes City Officials to enter into master utility agreement No. 1061300 with MnDOT for relocation of natural gas utilities related to State Project Number 6981-26 on Trunk Highway 535 and the Blatnik Bridge replacement project. MnDOT has identified existing natural gas utility assets and has estimated replacement expenses eligible for reimbursement. City utility relocation work will occur on an as-needed schedule by MnDOT.
