CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to enter into a contract with JMF Construction, Inc. for the 2025 Lead Water Service Replacement-Central Hillside Neighborhood for a total amount not to exceed $5,699,957.85, payable from fund 510-500-1905-5533; UtilB-2215 (water; Public Works and Utilities; capital (incl deprec/debt svc); capital improvements - revenue; utility projects budgeted; lead service replacement 2025 - hillside).
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution will authorize the 2025 Lead Water Service Replacement- Central Hillside Neighborhood by JMF Construction, Inc. for a total amount not to exceed $5,699,957.85. The project consists of the replacement of public and private lead water services with HDPE services, followed by surface restoration in the Central Hillside Neighborhood. Purchasing issued an Invitation for Bids on December 11, 2024. JMF Construction, Inc. was the lowest responsible bidder of the three companies that responded. The engineer’s estimate was $7,000,000.00
