RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PROPER CITY OFFICIALS TO ENTER INTO A SUB-RECIPIENT FUNDING AGREEMENT WITH THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE MINNESOTA STATE COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES ON BEHALF OF LAKE SUPERIOR COLLEGE FOR EMPLOYMENT AND TRAINING SERVICES FUNDED THROUGH THE STATE OF MINNESOTA’S PATHWAYS TO PROSPERITY GRANT PROGRAM.

CITY PROPOSAL:

                     RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are authorized to enter into a sub-recipient funding agreements with the board of trustees of the Minnesota state colleges and universities on behalf of Lake Superior College, substantially in the form attached hereto as Exhibit A, for services to be conducted in accordance to the terms and conditions set by the Pathways to Prosperity Program and master agreement between the city and the state of Minnesota department of employment and economic development (“DEED”), funds to be paid from fund no. 268-031-6228-5441 (workforce development, grant division, miscellaneous workforce development grants, other services and charges).

 

Statement of Purpose

STATEMENT OF PURPOSE:  This resolution authorizes city officials to enter into a sub-recipient funding agreement with the board of trustees of the Minnesota state colleges and universities on behalf of Lake Superior College for employment and training services designed to prepare individuals with skills needed to enter into employment in the healthcare field.
