CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the property city officials are authorized to accept an award from the Minnesota Board of Firefighter Training and Education under the training reimbursement program in the amount of $100,882.56 for the state’s fiscal year 2026, said funds to be deposited in Fund 210, Agency 030, Organization 3178, Revenue Source 4220-02 (Special Projects, Finance, Fire Training Fund, State of Minnesota), and committed for the purpose of reimbursing training expenses for the Duluth Fire Department.

STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorized the acceptance of an award in the amount of $100,882.56 from the Minnesota Board of Firefighter Training and Education for the purpose of reimbursing training expenses for the Duluth Fire Department.
