CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to amend agreement L31034 with RW Fern Associates, Inc. for the City Hall Restroom Remodel Phase One project to include construction administration services as identified in the attached Exhibit A, and to increase the amount by $15,000.00 for a new total amount not to exceed $60,150.00, payable from fund 450-030-5319-CP2025-2502B (capital improvements, finance, other professional services, 2025 capital improvement projects, City Hall Restrooms).
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes an amendment to agreement L31034 with RW Fern Associates, Inc. for the City Hall Restroom Remodel Phase One project.
The additional services include construction administration for the remodeling of two bathrooms on the 4th floor of City Hall. The existing agreement consists of design development and construction documents for improvements of all bathrooms in the building, and the amendment will provide funds for construction administration in this first phase.
Funding for the project is budgeted through the 2025 Capital Improvement Plan. It is anticipated that future phases of restroom remodel projects will require additional amendments for construction administration services.
