RESOLUTION ACCEPTING A TEMPORARY EASEMENT FOR CONSTRUCTION PURPOSES NEAR KENWOOD AVENUE AND WEST CLEVELAND STREET FROM KAYLA M. BOWEN AND CASS S. BOWEN.

CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to accept a temporary easement for construction purposes as described in the Temporary Easement Agreement attached as Exhibit A from Kayla M. Bowen, f/k/a Kayla M. Julson, and Cass S. Bowen, joint tenants, Grantors, over that portion of Lot 1, Block 12, MYERS AND WHIPPLE’S ADDITION TO DULUTH, described below:
Beginning at the northeast corner of Lot 1, Block 12, MYERS & WHIPPLES ADDITION TO DULUTH; thence west along the north line a distance of 14.50 feet, thence southeasterly to a point 5.00 feet west of the east line of said Lot 1 distant 9.50 feet south of said north line; thence east, parallel with said north line, a distance of 5.00 feet to said east line, thence north 9.50 feet along said east line to the Point of Beginning, as depicted on Attachment 1.
Said easement shall terminate no later than December 31, 2016.

STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes acceptance of a temporary construction easement in conjunction with the Kenwood/Arrowhead Signal and Roadway Improvements project.
