CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are authorized to execute documents necessary to extend an agreement, bearing city contract number L30560, with Karpel Computer Systems Inc. for legal document management software services and authorize payment of a total amount not to exceed $150,000, payable from fund 110-110-110-1104-5414 (general, Legislative & Executive, attorney and human rights, software licenses and maintenance agreements).
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes city staff to extend the current 2021-2022 City contract number L30560 for the PROSECUTORbyKarpel (PbK) Software Program, the legal document management software system currently used by the city attorney’s office, for up to five years at an annual estimated amount of $30,000. Per contract number L30560, the city staff can terminate this agreement at any time with at least 90 days’ written notice.
