RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are authorized to contract with Terrazzo & Concrete Restoration, Inc. for the rehabilitation and repair of the HART District, Tech Village and Library parking ramp structures for a total amount not to exceed $298,893.50, payable as follows:
$251,475.50 505-015-1480-2511-5405 (Parking Fund, Public Administration, Off Street Parking - HART District Ramp, Parking Lot Maintenance)
$ 29,698.00 505-015-1480-2510-5405 (Parking Fund, Public Administration, Off Street Parking - Tech Village Ramp, Parking Lot Maintenance)
$ 17,720.00 505-015-1480-2513-5405 (Parking Fund, Public Administration, Off Street Parking - Library Ramp, Parking Lot Maintenance)
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes a contract with Terrazzo & Concrete Restoration, Inc. for the rehabilitation and repair of the HART District, Tech Village and Library parking ramp structures for an amount not to exceed $298,893.50.
The purpose of the project is to perform necessary structural maintenance on the referenced ramps to maximize safety and to extend the useful life of each facility.
Purchasing issued an invitation to bid on August 15, 2017 and received four bids. Terrazzo & Concrete Restoration, Inc. submitted the lowest responsive bid.
