RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AN OPERATIONS AND MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF RICE LAKE AND THE CITY OF DULUTH.

CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to enter into an operations and maintenance agreement, substantially in the form attached as Exhibit 1, between the city of Rice Lake and the city of Duluth, with regards to responsibilities and reimbursement for general roadway surface maintenance, which included, but not limited to, snowplowing, pavement maintenance, traffic sign maintenance and pavement marking maintenance for roadways under each agency’s respective jurisdictions, with said reimbursement funds deposited into City Fund 110-500-1920-4654 (General, Public Works and Utilities, Street Maintenance, Other Reimbursements).
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: The purpose of this resolution is to authorize an operations and maintenance agreement between the City of Rice Lake and the City of Duluth that sets forth the responsibilities and reimbursement for general roadway surface maintenance, which include, but is not limited to, snowplowing, pavement maintenance, traffic sign maintenance and pavement marking maintenance for roadways under each agency’s respective jurisdictions.
