CITY PROPOSAL:

RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to extend the right-of-entry, substantially in the form attached as Exhibit 1, with the United States of America allow for continued use of certain city-owned property in Canal Park in connection with a construction project on adjacent property owned by the United States of America; the property to be used is depicted on Exhibit A attached to Exhibit 2.

 

Statement of Purpose

STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes a supplemental agreement to the right-of-entry, substantially in the form attached as Exhibit 1, with the United States of America (“USA”) to allow for continued use of certain city-owned property in Canal Park in connection with a construction project on adjacent property owned by the USA.  The specific property authorized to be used by the USA is depicted on Exhibit A attached to Exhibit 2.

 

The USA is continuing its work of performing a shoreline protection project on its own property and needs to use the city-owned property depicted on Exhibit A attached to Exhibit 2 to tie into the City’s existing pedestrian walkway, as well as reposition existing stonework.  This supplemental agreement will extend the term of the Right of Entry until November 31, 2025.
