CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are authorized to enter into a contract with K & H Excavation, Inc., for the Storm System Improvements project, City project No. 2222 in the amount of $749,065.05, payable from 535-500-1905-5533 (Capital Storm Fund).
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes the award of a contract for the construction of the Storm System Improvements project to K & H Excavation, Inc., in the amount of $749,065.05. They were the lowest of seven responsible bidders. The project will add inlet capacity city wide at low sections of roadway that have a history of localized flooding during heavy rainfalls. The project will also restore roadway pavement and sidewalks disturbed during the construction.
