Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes an agreement with MSA Professional Services, Inc. (MSA) for engineering services for the Operation and Needs Review Study for the Woodland Booster Station Improvement Project. Due to the complexity of the project, the city requested the services of a consulting engineer. MSA has been the consultant of record for all booster station upgrades within the last decade including the Highland Booster Station, the Arlington Booster Station and the Middle Booster Station. As such, MSA is already familiar with the City water system, the design of City booster stations and the requirements of this project. City staff believes MSA is the best qualified consultant for the project.
