CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are authorized to execute a five-year agreement with G.F.F. Productions, LLC for consultation, installation and training on audio and video services for various departments and in various City buildings for an estimated annual amount of $50,000 and a total amount not to exceed $250,000.00. The services will be funded by various project and general funds as the services are performed, and are unknown at this time.
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE:
The purpose of this resolution is to enter into a five-year agreement with G.F.F. Productions, LLC for professional and technical services relating to audio-visual equipment, configuration, installation and training for various locations across City buildings. G.F.F. Productions has often worked with the City for its audio-visual needs, has consistently been the low or only bidder on all audio-visual projects in the past several years, and has an in-depth understanding of our current systems and future needs. The agreement is a sole source agreement due to G.F.F. Productions being the only local audio-visual company in Duluth. Larger audio-visual companies from outside of Duluth subcontract with them instead of traveling and providing the services themselves.
