RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT WITH PROSOURCE TECHNOLOGIES, LLC, FOR EASEMENT ACQUISITION, ENVIRONMENTAL, SURVEYING AND ENGINEERING SERVICES DURING YEARS 2018 THROUGH 2022 FOR AN ANNUAL AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $30,000 AND A TOTAL AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $150,000.

CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to execute an agreement in the form substantially attached as Exhibit A with ProSource Technologies, LLC, for easement acquisition, environmental, surveying and engineering services for an amount not to exceed $30,000 annually, from year 2018 through 2022, payable from 110-500-1930-2300-5803-1054 (General Fund, Public Works and Utilities, Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Engineering Services).
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes an agreement, substantially in the format attached as Exhibit A, which allows for utilizing consulting services as needed for easement acquisition or engineering services when City staff need additional assistance. Funds will not be encumbered or expended until the City provides notice of work authorization to the consultant. Historically, consultants have been used for this type of work only a few times per year; that trend is expected to continue through the agreement period.
