CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to accept a donation from the Northland Law Enforcement K-9 Foundation in the amount of $5,000 for the Duluth police department’s purchase and training of an explosive detection canine, to be deposited in Fund No. 210-030-3123-4660 (Police Special Project, Finance, K-9 Account, Gifts & Donations).
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes the proper city officials to accept a donation from the Northland Law Enforcement K-9 Foundation. The donation, in the amount of $5,000, will be used to pay for the purchase and training of an explosive detection canine who will be enlisted into the Duluth Police Department Canine Unit.
