RESOLUTION APPROVING ISSUANCE OF A TEMPORARY ON SALE INTOXICATING LIQUOR LICENSE TO VARIOUS LICENSEES.

CITY PROPOSAL:

                     BE IT RESOLVED, that the city council of the city of Duluth hereby approves issuance of the following temporary liquor licenses, subject to depart-ment-al approvals, with any further restrictions, and further subject to approval of the liquor control commissioner:

                     Minnesota Ballet (Celebrity Dance Challenge) - Application for a temporary on-sale intoxicating liquor license for September 29, 2022 at Marshall School, 1215 Rice Lake Road.                     

                     Greater Downtown Council (37^th Annual Celebration) - Application for a temporary on-sale intoxicating liquor license for August 16, 2022 at Bayfront Festival Park, 350 Harbor Drive.

Statement of Purpose

STATEMENT OF PURPOSE:  The applications for temporary on-sale intoxicating liquor license were reviewed by the Duluth Police Department and recommended for approval by the Alcohol, Gambling and Tobacco Commission at their July 6, 2022 meeting.
