CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are authorized to execute an amendment to professional service agreement L30965 with KLM Engineering, Inc., substantially in the form of attached Exhibit A, for additional services required while preforming remote operated vehicle evaluations of 14 reservoirs throughout the city for an increase of $4,500.00, for the new amount not to exceed $60,000.00, payable from fund 510-500-1955-5310; UtilB-EPA (water; Public Works and Utilities; water treatment and pumping; contract services; utility projects budgeted; EPA water systems projects).
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes an amendment to professional service agreement L30965 with KLM Engineering, Inc. for additional services required while preforming remote operated vehicle evaluations of 14 reservoirs throughout the city for an increase of $4,500.00, for the new amount not to exceed $60,000.00.
This amendment compensates KLM for additional inspection services related to the condition assessment of Reservoir A. KLM facilitated the City-led water quality sampling at Reservoir A as apart of the City’s corrosion control assessment related to the Environmental Protection Agency lead compliance requirements.
