CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are authorized to contract with KorTerra, Inc. for five years for utility locating services for a total estimated amount not to exceed $54,950.00, payable from the following funds:
$13,737.50 510-500-1930-2330-5414 (water, Public Works and Utilities, engineering, utility engineering, software licenses and maintenance agreements).
$13,737.50 520-500-1930-2330-5414 (gas, Public Works and Utilities, engineering, utility engineering, software licenses and maintenance agreements).
$13,737.50 530-500-1930-2330-5414 (sewer, Public Works and Utilities, engineering, utility engineering, software licenses and maintenance agreements).
$13,737.50 535-500-1930-2330-5414 (stormwater, Public Works and Utilities, engineering, utility engineering, software licenses and maintenance agreements).
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes a contract with KorTerra, Inc. for five years for utility locating services for a total estimated amount not to exceed $54,950.00.
This resolution will authorize the City to enter into a contract for utility locating assistance services from KorTerra, Inc., for the total estimated amount not to exceed $54,950.00. KorTerra, Inc. provides utility locating assistance to the Engineering Department, including a mobile application that provides additional liability protection to the City of Duluth, while also giving further simplicity to the Engineering staff.
