RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AN INCREASE OF $2,984 OF HOME-AMERICAN RESCUE PLAN PROGRAM FUNDS.

CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the city council hereby amends the HOME-ARP Allocation Plan, adopted by resolution 22-0779R, increasing the total expenditure of the HOME-American Rescue Plan (“ARP”) Program by an amount of $2,984 due to an increase in the allocation to the city by the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (“HUD”) from the original amount of $1,986,658 to the final HUD award of $1,989,642 and
FURHTER RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to amend the appropriate agreements consistent with the allocation as set forth in Attachment 1.
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: On September 16, 2022, City Council approved Resolution 22-0779, which amended the 2021 Action Plan to include $1,986,658 of HOME- APR funds from HUD to allow the City to receive those funds. On February 10, 2025 City Council approved Resolution 25-0094 authorizing agreements with agencies for the HOME ARP funds. On April 30, 2025, HUD informed the City that the HOME-ARP award was increased by $2,984. The additional funds will be allocated to Divine Konnections - Annie’s House Expansion that is in process. This allocation meets the HOME APR Plan requirements; therefore, no public hearing was required.
