CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that contract 30555 with LHB, Inc. for professional engineering services
for the East First Street and East First Street Alley Reconstruction project, be amended to include additional construction inspection and material testing and to increase the amount by $63,172.00 for a new total of not to exceed $517,252.00 payable from Permanent Improvement Fund 411, Department 035 (Capital Projects Accounts), Object 5530 (Improvements Other than Buildings), city project no. 2004.
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution amends contract 30555 with LHB, Inc. by
$63,172.00. This amendment is necessary due to a longer than anticipated construction duration and additional material testing as detailed in the attached cost proposal request from LHB. City staff requires assistance from LHB for construction administration services. Payable out of Permanent Improvement Fund 411, Department 035 (Capital Projects Accounts), Object 5530 (Improvements Other than Buildings), city project no. 2004, requisition no. 23-99415.
